Project Butterfly is currently run just for Nelson people who have lost children. There are hundreds of ways you can be involved or help out. Would you like to donate some time, money or even a service?  

Every donation counts and can be put towards funeral costs, counseling, memorials or a public work of art that commerates a little one.

    Thanks to the Great Christmas Market for their support. We are manning a gift wrapping stall there this year and all the proceeds will go to Project Butterfly.

    The incredible and talented Fleur Woods is a local artist who has donated not only her time to Project Butterfly but a lovely piece of art for the auction evening.

    This year The Inside is donating a bunch of wallpaper and decals to be auctioned at the fund raising evening
  • Nester - NZ Bird Prints
    Very talented local artist 'Nester' has kindly donated some of her beautiful bird prints for auction.
  • PurpleHat Bodyart
    The very talented Laura has donated a facepainting voucher. Perfect for kids birthdays she has also been known to do adult parties too!
  • Ma Belle Soeur
    New comers to the Nelson market scene has not stopped Ma Belle Soeur from taking off. These girls are making a name for themselves in Nelson and have even featured in the Leader. The girls have kindly donated one of their beautiful products to be auctioned.
  • Moutere Gold
    The gorgeous shop at the Old Post Office in the Moutere Valley has donated one of its beautiful fabric bundles, while Moutere Gold and Harakeke Farm Wines have donated a bottle of wine or two and one of their wooden preserve boxes to our auction evening.
  • Sukita Project
    The beautiful ladies at the Sukita Project have donated some of their hand woven scarves to the Butterfly project. Each scarf takes around 5 hours to weave and is incredibly intricate in detail.
  • Empire Eco Designs
    The very talented Pip from Empire Eco Designs is donating a gift pack from her Eco Baby Range. As far as we know Empire Eco Designs is the only one in New Zealand specialising in Organic bed-ware for babies and other goodies. We just love her stuff!
  • Print Mistress
    Stop the press! The fabulous 'Print Mistress' is donating something special to Project Butterfly! Based in Motueka, the Print Mistress has lovely limited edition tea-towels, cushions and kids tee shirts.
  • Piccalilli
    If you have ever been to the Saturday Markets in Nelson then you will know these beautiful children's garments. They have the wow factor as well as being timeless and warm. Thank you so much Piccalilli for donating to the Project Butterfly auction evening!

    Rachael Brown Photography has kindly offered one of their amazing 'Family Photo Shoots'. This is an awesome prize offered by a very talented photographer.

    Wow, what an awesome prize. Legend Kids has donated a double day pass for their awesome Legend Kids Holiday Programme (value $70, 9am - 3pm) and a week pass for their Founders Park - Arts based programme (value $225). I wish I was a kid again!
